Sydney, 1989. A misfit private school kid discovers the city's underground rave scene — the warehouses of Alexandria, the clubs of Oxford Street, the legendary nights at Metropolis and the Dome — and spends the next three years disappearing into it completely.
Lost in 12 Inches is the first-person account of those years. Each episode takes a specific track from the era and uses it as a doorway into a story — a night, a place, a person, a moment that has never quite let go. Four seasons. Forty-plus episodes. One city at one unrepeatable moment in time.
The show started in 2021 as a way of making sense of a period that still feels unfinished. Every track played here was owned, danced to, and lived in. Every story is true — or true enough.
